Routes: Routes along the Dee Valley and option to head uphill into the Cairngorms.  Everything from 8 miles to 100 miles plus.

Cycling Location: Ballater. Just a few miles from Balmoral Castle in the Cairngorms National Park

Ballater is in Royal Deeside and in the Eastern Cairngorms.  It's in the shadow of some of Scotland's biggest mountains but there are all types of cycling to be found here, from a gentle ride along a traffic-free 'railtrail' path to climbs up to Scotland's ski stations.
